The tech services major is providing complimentary skill enhancement programs to impacted employees via partnerships with NIIT and upGrad. This development was confirmed after Moneycontrol reviewed an email sent by Infosys on April 18, which stated that the employees did not meet the qualifying criteria of the company’s internal training program. A similar incident took place earlier in February when over 300 trainees were let go under comparable circumstances.
